My Bad Blog Experience From England

Updated Title Change 6-2-2015

Many will remember the blog evocationmagic.com.  It no longer exists.   The last I had heard was that some people are trying to recreate it in some form on the web again.  For those that remember, here's a review of the blog.

We might all have stories to tell when it comes to joining a particular blog.   It can be a frustrating experience filled with debate.   It is hoped all people can participate in a blog with tons of creativity.  However, that isn't always the case.

Many N.A.P. discussions were going on at the evocationmagic.com blog when I was a member.   I
had interjected in those discussions.  There were some leaders of this group that seemed to want
to push others in a specific direction.  Let me give you an example of a blog discussion  about
N.A.P. and let's define some things in the topic.  Verify the following in Wikipedia or other
sources of the web if you wish.

Gray-Cobb's book, New Avatar Power, came from either the Nuctameron by Apollonius of Tyana
or  Transcendental Magic by Levi.   Apollonius lived in a Roman province prior to 100 C.E.  From
some of the books on the Latin language, we still aren't completely sure of the pronunciation of
this language.   From all the research I've done, Ashkenazic Hebrew is a theoretical pronunciation system used by a variety of Jewish people.  We really don't know for sure how
Biblical Hebrew was pronounced either.   We probably come closer to proper Latin pronunciation
than we can speak ancient Hebrew today.

The evocation magic blog member, raum215, questioned everything and liked to add all kinds of
tidbits that really didn't pertain directly to a blog topic.  Member raum215 was hung up on
pronunciation claiming he knew how each of the ancient words was pronounced.  Everyone that
refers to cabalistic words pronounce them differently.  His claim was that some of these words
had to be pronounced in Ashkenazic.  I found raum215 didn't like those who stated things, but
rather liked those who questioned.  He was to the evocation magic group what Aleister Crowley
was to his prospective organizations:  just a another man seeking power.  I don't supply things
here to feed my ego.   It's fine raum215 knew a lot of things, but he needed to not sweep other
people's ideas under the rug like dust.

Member raum215 stated he knew where the word Labezerin came from.  Everything doesn't have
to fit "Sephardic and Ashkenazic hebrew".  He was correct stating  "and there were already LOTS
of dialects"; so, other pronunciations would allow magickal miracles to occur as well.   I'm sure
you could still get results if you didn't speak Ashkenazic Hebrew correctly.

There are leaders and followers and I choose not to follow the information provided by raum215
just as others chose not to follow the controlling authority of Aleister Crowley.   I may have been
banned for a N.A.P. Ritual of Lust,  or running a link back to my blog.  After reviewing all the
Google web cached pages stored on my computer, I believe raum215 had me banned because he
felt I gave wrong information about N.A.P.   Perhaps, I didn't speak Ashkenazic Hebrew
accurately?

Is The Ancient Egyptian Language Based on Sound?

Title Change 6-2-2015

This blog entry will focus on the consonants of the ancient Egyptian language.   If you read my book, The Cat Speaks Egyptian, you now have the vowels of this language.  It's a theory, but it is a pretty good one.  I won't reveal the vowels here.  You will have to buy the book, "The Cat Speaks Egyptian", to see what the vowel sounds are. Two stores in the Lansing Michigan area were carrying it exclusively, but I'm going to sell it in auction very soon.  Thoth's real name is given in the book (as the Egyptian priests may have called Thoth).  This book is not available in Amazon nor will it be in Barnes & Noble as it does not have an ISBN number.  Many stores on the web do not show books without ISBN numbers.

You may have to reference several Egyptian language books to keep up with me.  We will come back to the the hieroglyphics for Osiris and Isis later.  (I will recheck my own references).   The books each have a different definition of what the ancient hieroglyphics stand for.  We can envision a very primitive society. I do believe it was a society that put value in the sounds of their environment.  Take for instance the symbol of a leg is the letter 'b'.  This could have been the sound of feet on the ground.  A "buh" sound.  Those people that can read this page in English will know what I'm talking about. Take the  'f' sound.  It is a horned viper symbol and this animal typically makes a "ffffff" sound.  It is the same 'f' sound we use in our language.  Next, is the "k" sound.  It is the symbol of basket. Anyone that has set down a wicker basket, knows the sound it makes.  We've used a basket in the house and I am familiar with its characteristic sound.  The letter "t" is the symbol of bread in hieroglyphics.  Egyptians may have had bread loaves that were quite hard.   Especially, if they had no way to keep a bread loaf fresh.  Take an stale old piece of bread and bang it on a table.  Note the "t" sound and you know what I'm driving at.  I have given Thoth's name in my first book.  Many of the others will be given in my wordpress blog.  I will make an interesting forecast of the future and then I will provide the god names at the conclusion.  The last 2 Egyptian names Ra, and Maat will be given in my 2nd and last fiction book about Freemasonry.  When all the names are out I will start writing my Egyptian book of magic.  I'm looking at creating my own language that will better depict the sounds of these ancient gods.  I'm looking at reviving my own analysis of the Biblical Hebrew also.

More will be discussed in my wordpress blog.  See the first entry for my other blogs link.

Gray-Cobb's Daughter Canadian, Aye?

Update 11/19/2014

I was happy to hear that Vicki will be putting out her dad's published works soon.  I will be buying everything of his that I don't have in my collection.  I will certainly be adding another new copy of his book on Avatar Power.  One of his most rare or is it scare - his published work on astral travel will definitely be in my collection.  After you get to Vicki's site, you can join her blog and catch the latest in Facebook.

I never could figure out why the Canadian's are always saying 'Aye' at the end of their sentences.  They are a great people with wonderful achievements.  I had read that Geof Gray-Cobb was a Canadian and travelled throughout the world.   There is another interesting Canadian occult writer: Donald Tyson who I will discuss later.  He has some great books out there to discuss.  If you are ever web surfing be sure to check on Gray-Cobb's daughter Vicki.  She doesn't have that spelling of her name on the website, but he mentions his daughter Vicki in his last book 'Twist of Fate' near Edmonton.  I wasn't always into psychics, because I was afraid of some fraudulent psychic making a fool of me and taking my hard earned money in the process.  However, I think differently about Vicki.  She runs a pretty good site and a great blog too.  Gray-Cobb was the real deal and I believe his daughter is too.   If I needed a psychic I'd probably go to her first. She is at www.alternativeuniverse.ca

I was trying to work on a book deal with her.  Sorry to say the deal fell through. I wanted her to write an introduction and I would write the rest of the book.  I have most of the rituals ready to go already.   It was going to be called 'More Rituals From My Friend, Mr. Gray-Cobb".   I guess it was for the better.  I now have some other ideas since the deal has fallen apart.   Be sure to pay her site a visit and check out her blog.
