Are All Satanists Killing Animals and People?

This title is bizarre, or the title could have said, "Faulty Stereotypes and Double Standards in America" or maybe "Not All Bad People are Bad or All Good People aren't Necessarily Good".  Stereotypes generally come from a number of faulty attitudes. My wife watches all these criminal profiling shows and it has everyone pegged.  There are so many pursuing criminal justice degrees that criminal profiling is their "Bible" when it comes to America's perception of criminals. These attitudes come from people. They get a few stats and some expert comes up with a theory that everyone is like that.  Can I say that all cops eat donuts?  It kind of reminds me of that movie White Men Can't Jump starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.   There is a stereotype inside the title as well as the story.  I can think of hundreds of new stereotype movie titles that could be brought up in my living room for the entertainment of my wife and myself.  I sure couldn't mention it in this blog for fear that it was inappropriate for public media.

I work with a retired cop in my security work.  We get to talk most of the day while we maintain a post in state government.  He mentioned he got in trouble, as a cop, with his boss when he cussed out a juvenile offender that was going to jail.  The juvenile had spit on him.  I said there are 2 kinds of standards in society regarding speech: what we can say in public and what we can say at home.  An example of this is that we have to eject those that are cussing us out at our security posts.  It is inappropriate in public. However, when I get home and am watching cable or Netflix I can listen to cussing and swearing from TV; I can cuss and swear with my fellow family members.  We have a double standard in America.
   
Are you motivated by an unusual prejudice idea?  Do you see a double standard in America?   Take some time to think about it.  Have you got someone pegged?   The answer to the above blog entry title: No, not all satanists are killing animals and people.  I could say that this is a conservative, Christian or Republican stereotype.  Could I say that just because a New Jersey Republican governor gives tax cuts to the rich that all Republicans want to give tax cuts to the wealthy?  Question your values.  Are they right? 

Spiritual Force Energy: Just Pretend, Pray to the Spirits and They Perform Tasks

I have studied many types of magic. I had come up with my own system of magic and had developed my own magic called the "Forces".  Using the process of prayer from the Bible I had created a prayer to those spirits I referred to as the "Forces".  One can view these spirits as part of God.

In the past, I have studied books from the Al Manning.   Manning ran the ESP Lab of Texas.  I believe it is now run by his son in Colorado.   I had also devoted time to a book called, How to Use Astral Power: Key to a Miraculous New Life.    I combined both to create my hybrid system.   I utilized the concept of prayer from the Bible to create my system.

I found that by practicing New Avatar Power and learning other forms of magic I had a real interest in this sort of thing.  I bought occult book after occult book soaking up information like a sponge soaks up water.  I wanted to learn as many of the secrets as I could.  I wasn't a fan of all Manning's magic, but his book on Gnostic Magic shed some light on how to give up things to get other things. It was kind of like sacrifice or trading things with the spiritual world.  Manning believed one should have fun with the spirit world. The other author, Reginald De Koven MacNitt, was a U of M professor who wrote about Astral Power was a professor of psychology at the University of Michigan. His form of magic was similar to prayers. Spirits would then intervene after we called or prayed to them. I probably used more these author's philosophies than anything else to develop my own magic. I was to the point that I could write my own rituals.

To be successful, you have to suspend your judgement.  Just pretend something is there just like a child pretends to have an imaginary playmate.  We all used that imagination at an early age, but now we forget.  Practice again.

Bargaining with the Christian God

This is the hardest entry to write, and I've saved it until last to comment on.   I grew up on prayer that wasn't being answered.  I had commented elsewhere in this blog that God doesn't answer prayer.  If He did exist as Christians say he did he'd say, "Hi", now and then.  Thus, I became a deist: God set the Earth in motion and He sits back.  It [the Earth] is up to man at this point.  

I reached a stage to make bargains with God.  If you have never gotten an answer to prayer maybe you need to bargain with him.  I recall I made a bargain when we lost one of our dogs.   My wife was pretty distressed.  Our beagle-cocker spaniel dog had jumped the fence.  I bargained that if our dog came back I'd read the old testament by a certain date.  The dog came back in just over 24 hours being missing.  Whether God was really behind it or whether the dog came back on her own is still a question.  I had the obligation to read the old testament.  I started reading, but missed fulfilling my end of the bargain by the deadline.  I did finish the old testament of the Bible eventually.   The dog would run away again and was gone longer: over 48 hours!   I bargained going to church again.  The dog returned and I did hold up my part of the bargain - I would attend a church service.

Think what you will, but bargains might work when you don't see results from regular prayer.
